Metro Structure

Superstructure – In metro superstructures or bridge segments, to minimize cracking and prevent its propagation, our well-established product Fiber Guard has proven highly effective at specific dosages. It can be easily mixed with concrete during batching, ensuring enhanced crack resistance without any additional process changes.
Substructure – For TBM tunnels and cross passages in metro projects, we have introduced Bajaj Fibre Tuff as an alternative to traditional steel reinforcement, offering an effective cost saving of up to 60% compared to steel. The casting and erection methodology for each segment remains the same; the only difference is that the required dosage of Bajaj Fibre Tuff is added in place of conventional steel reinforcement. The performance of these segments matches that of steel-reinforced segments, with no compromise on safety or durability.
